For the Love of Our Pets

Hello, Old Hickory Village! I started going door-to door and meeting residents of OHV yesterday afternoon and will be back at it today. I'll be telling my story and listening to yours.

When you knock on as many doors as I have, you can't help but notice how many dog owners there are. I've asked why there isn't a dog park in our area and have several places in mind already. Some just need a fence, others need more, but with a little work, we could have more than one place for our animals to play together.

Love for our pets is something we all have in common. The district and the village have a diverse range of residents, with varying views on the issues we face, but when you bring up our pets, we're all on the same page. If you visit a dog park, you'll see strangers hanging out because their dogs like each other. We need more of that in our lives.

I look forward to meeting you and your pets, so if you see me at the door, tell me what you love about your neighborhood and what your concerns are. I've already been working to save the taxpayers money, clean up our city and holding elected officials and developers accountable when their plan doesn't make sense for the neighborhood. It's why I am in the race. You hear the term "shovel ready", well, I'm the shovel and I'm ready.
